FAQ

What type of ceiling will the S-Series work best with?

The optimized ceiling height is between 10 – 15″ (2.5 – 3m) as specified by Dolby, it should be flat and not be fitted with absorbing material. Most modern apartments/houses are built to this specification. Ensure the soundbar has a clear line of sight to the ceiling (i.e. it is not in a TV cabinet).

Is the S-Series a 5.1.4 system?

Our system us currently a 5.1.2. The sound comes from the Atmos speaker which is located at the front . It has gone through extremely rigorous testing with Dolby directly to meet their very high standards. At a later date, we will be developing surround speakers with Atmos built it which will create the 5.1.4 system that you are describing. The benefit of system is it is modular and flexible so you can add new features without having to buy a brand new system.

Is the S-Series easily set up?

Yes, very. The Subwoofer takes all of the inputs and outputs. The Sound Bar has one cable going in for power. The “master” S-Cube Speaker works on Bluetooth, and connects to all of the additional speakers using our JetStreamNet technology.

I can't connect to the S-Bar by Bluetooth

You need to be in Bluetooth mode using the remote (Blue light on the S-Bar will indicate this). Open up Bluetooth on your device, and hold down the play/pause button on either the remote or the unit until the S-Bar shows up as one of your available devices to use. Connect, and away you go!

My S-Series remote control isn't working/How do I sync up a new remote control to the system?

First, check that there are 2 working AAA Batteries inserted. If they are, it may just need a reconnect to the system. To do this remove the power cable from the S-Woofer, wait 20 seconds and insert it back in. The red LED will now show on the front of the S-Woofer, on the remote control press the vol – and the mute button simultaneously for about 2-3 seconds. The remote should now work. (If it doesn’t work first time, keep trying)

My S-Cubes won't connect to the S-Series

What colour is the LED? If it is Blue, you are in Bluetooth and the speaker won’t wonnect to the system in Bluetooth. The LED needs to be turquoise. If it is turquoise, it may not be correctly paired to the system. To re-pair the S-Cubes, you need to, once the S-Cubes are turned on, hold down the pair button on the back of the cube at the same time as the pair button on the remote control and wait for 1-2 seconds

My S-Bar is unresponsive

Make sure the correct cables are being used – 2000mAh for the Sub and 3000mAh for the Bar. Unplug the Sub and Bar, wait for 20 seconds, plug back in and turn on – Could be a handshake issue between the components. Is the LED lit up? If not, the unit is likely to be faulty and we would need to have the necessary components sent in. Can you connect by Bluetooth? To do this you need to be in Bluetooth mode using the remote (Blue light on the S-Bar will indicate this). Open up Bluetooth on your device, and hold down the play/pause button on either the remote or the unit until the S-Bar shows up as one of your available devices to use.

My S-Woofer is unresponsive

Make sure the correct cables are being used – 2000mAh for the Sub and 3000mAh for the Bar. By unresponsive, do you mean there is no power to it (Is the LED on) If the LED is on, is there any bass coming from it? Does it lack “presence”?

How do I get my X Box 1 X/S to stream Atmos enabled content?

In Audio Output, choose Bit stream Out for HDMI Audio, & Atmos Home Theatre for Bit stream format. Enter Netflix and play content. My TV isn't getting the Atmos signal though ARC?

Most Tv’s do not support Dolby Atmos over ARC/CEC, instead it will down sample to the next available format, such as Dolby Digital+. You will also need to ensure the HDMI cables you are using are high speed

My S-Cubes intermittently cut out when the full system is in use

This could be dependant on the locaton of the S-Cubes in your room. If there is any sort of obstacle in the room, the speakers may drop out, which is them trying to recalibrate with the S-Series. Try adjusting the position of your S-Cubes.

Will the S-Series support DTS?

Yes it will play DTS content, however, as the S-Series was specifically designed in partnership with Dolby you may notice some difference between DTS and Dolby sound.

Can I add in additional S-Cubes to extend the front left and right channels?

No, this will not create a true 7.1. The cubes are designed to be rear left and right only. You shouldn’t need to add in extra cubes anywhere as it will be over powering. The extra cubes will only really be needed if you are wanting to create multi room.
