SERVICE AND REPAIR
When you send your product to us, we’ll verify that it’s eligible for the service you requested. If your product is eligible, we’ll either repair or replace it with a product that is new or equivalent to new in both performance and reliability. If your product is eligible for a different service than the one you requested, we’ll contact you with more information.
Batteries are consumable parts that sometimes fail because of a defect or their life expires through normal use. If your product fails because of a defect in the battery and it’s still covered by the Damson One Year Limited Warranty or consumer law, we’ll either repair your product or replace it. If your product has been damaged accidentally or needs other repairs, you will need to pay an additional fee for service.
HOW MUCH DOES THE SERVICE/REPAIR COST?
Our service fees depend on your product and whether you are covered under warranty and consumer law:
- – There’s no charge if the repair is for a defect covered under Damson’s One Year Limited Warranty or consumer law.
- – Out-of-warranty service, including repair service for accidental damage, may be available for your product. Some discontinued items may not be available for repair.
In some cases, if we examine your product and determine that it doesn’t require any repair service, you will be charged a diagnostic fee and returning shipping costs.
OUT OF WARRANTY SERVICE
If your product is damaged or your repair isn’t covered by our warranty or consumer law, it may be eligible for out-of-warranty service. Some damages aren’t eligible at all, for example, if your device broke into multiple pieces. We reserve the right to determine whether your product is eligible.
